Welcome to The Benefice of West Trent
The Parishes of Bleasby, Halloughton, Hoveringham, Morton, Rolleston, Thurgarton, Upton; including Fiskerton.
From January 2021, the churches in the Benefice suspended their sunday morning in person services (Reasons and Criteria for our decision can be found on our Covid19 Benefice information page).
Our Sunday morning service and Wednesday evening Compline service is held online via Zoom, where we join together virtually from our homes to share time with God and each other.
Please contact us if you would like to join our services. All are welcome and we have been blessed that people who would not usually come to our services have been able to join us.
Our churches remain open for private prayer

A short liturgy for Remembering loved ones at home
It's so difficult when you can’t go to a funeral, whether for family, friend or neighbour. Many are facing this in the current crisis, so this short reflection has been specially written by a vicar for you to do at home, alone or with those who share your home. You might ask others to take part at the same time from their home. When this time of social distancing is over, there may well be an opportunity to meet together at a special time of remembering and thankfulness. Your memories now can be part of that experience when the time comes.

Our Prayer Box at St Denis in Morton
The prayers will be collected, unread to be anonymous
and to preserve your confidentiality.
During our Sunday morning Zoom worship, they will be collectively held and offered to God.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
